None of the tips they gave felt artificial or would detract from my own storytelling, instead actually making them feel a lot more personal and giving more insight into my story and personality. Watching the ElevatEd videos helped me so, SO much in my college application journey- it cleared up all my fears and allowed me to really delve into the process confidently and with a plan of action. I particularly appreciated the amazing, free, essay breakdowns on YouTube, as my family couldn’t really spend money on professional counseling/essay help. All in all, I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for the ElevatEd team- their content is life changing, especially for first gen, low income students.

I just wanted to thank Kevin and the entire team in general as the YouTube videos really allowed me get an idea of how to really write a proper college essay and helped me build the right mindset when it came to essays. I LOVED the essay editing. The tips that y'all gave helped me out a lot. The ending that you crafted was alone so impactful for the essay. And the structure was made at least 5-6 times better after the review and rewriting that I did. Thanks a lot! I had an awesome time in this bootcamp! I learned about the fundamentals of writing such as the do's and don'ts and the structures. Not only that, but the class was engaging since we did tons of interactive activities like the halfway quiz and the analyzation of short stories we read. I liked how we were able to improve our writing through looking at other's works and incorporating those tools into our own. The feedback I received definitely helped me improve as a writer!
